The global phenomenon that is South Korean boyband BTS has transcended its musical realm to inspire a highly anticipated K-drama, initially named YOUTH and now rebranded as Begins Youth.

Produced by the group's entertainment company, Hybe Corporation, the series was originally slated for a 2020 release but got postponed to November 2023. As per recent reports, the drama is finally set to premiere later this year, stirring excitement within the BTS Army.

The resurfaced trailer circulating on social media platforms, particularly X (formerly Twitter), provides a glimpse into the characters of Begins Youth. Seven talented actors - Seo Ji-hoon, Noh Jong-hyun, Ahn Ji-ho, Seo Young-joo, Kim Yoon-woo, Jung Woo-jin, and Jeon Jin-seo - have been cast as leads, bearing an uncanny resemblance to the BTS members, intensifying the Army's interest.

Referencing iconic BTS music videos such as ‘I NEED U’ and ‘Spring Day’ in the opening moments, the trailer delves into the challenges faced by each character. The keywords ‘Sacrifice,’ ‘Rumour,’ ‘Interest,’ ‘Poverty,’ ‘Violence,’ and ‘Remarriage’ underscore the struggles each schoolboy faces in Begins Youth.

The narrative revolves around seven schoolboys - Kim Hwan, Min Cein, Jeong Hosu, Kim Dogeon, Park Haru, Kim Jooan, and Jeon Jeha - navigating life amid personal challenges.
