Korean band BTS has taken over the world with their music after topping music charts worldwide. Now, the K-pop boy band has taken over the internet with their ‘Permission to Dance’ challenge.

Bollywood Actor Varun Dhawan is the latest celebrity to take the BTS Permission To Dance challenge. He shared a video on his Instagram handle, where he grooved to the song.

In his post, he also declared being a part of the ARMY and gave a shoutout to the BTS fans.

Varun captioned the video "We don’t need permission to dance," followed by BTS' signature purple heart and hashtags, '#Btsarmy' and '#warmupsong'.

In the video, Varun Dhawan can be seen grooving to the foot-tapping number with two other people. Varun was soon seen adding his own twist to the dance as he added some new steps.

Soon after his post, the comments section was filled with love and appreciation from his fans as well as the BTS ARMY. A few of his fans wrote, "Love the smoothness you bringing in"; "What you gave me heart attack by this"; and "Looking cute."

The BTS ARMY dropped purple hearts in the comments section and said "you made armys day vd"; "You are also BTS fan......"; "@varundvn is also bts army member" and "borahae".

Notably, 'The Permission To Dance' challenge was started by BTS in July, when fans choreographed their own moves and shared videos on YouTube. Their third all-English track was released on July 9.

The song, which imagines a pandemic-free and inclusive world in near future, recorded over 68 million views in just 24 hours of its release and is the second collaboration between BTS and Ed Sheeran.

On the work front, Varun Dhawan recently wrapped up the supernatural thriller "Bhediya" opposite Kriti Sanon. He will also be seen in Jug Jugg Jeeyo alongside Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.
