Boney Kapoor hints at Mr. India 2, Janhvi Kapoor replacing Sridevi speculations trigger hilarious memes

Mr. India is one of the biggest hits of both Sridevi and Anil Kapoor. While Sri is still remembered for her iconic role as journalist Seema, Anil Kapoor continues to be the invisible Mr. India for Bollywood fans. While there have been discussions regarding the sequel for this Shekhar Kapur-helmed film even when Sridevi was alive, recently Boney Kapoor hinted towards it for the first time on his official Instagram page.

Boney Kapoor who bankrolled Mr.India captioned his post, “Creating new waves in entertainment world." “Can still do it again.” And guess what? It was Janhvi Kapoor who responded to this post immediately saying, “You have always done it, you still do it and you will continue to.” Now this has triggered speculations that Boney wants to cast Janhvi as the female lead in Mr. India 2 which means she will be replacing her mother and iconic actress Sridevi .

Irked netizens are perplexed as to who are these fans expecting such a star cast to replace the cult pairing of Sri and Anil Kapoor in the original Mr. India. The only saving grace of the movie was the presence of Rajkummar Rao. On the other hand, Varun Dhawan may be the ideal choice to replace Anil Kapoor. He is a star kid who over the years has proven his mettle by doing versatile roles from Main Tera Hero to Bawaal and Bhediya.
