Just when we thought the wait was over, actually, it wasn’t! The makers of Liger were supposed to treat the fans of Vijay Deverakonda with the teaser of Liger on his special day. However, much to everyone’s dismay, the makers have postponed the release of the teaser indefinitely.
Yes! In what may come as a shocker to all the Rowdy fans, Liger’s teaser which was supposed to release on Vijay’s birthday has been postponed, leaving all the fans heartbroken.
A joint statement from Dharma Productions and Puri Connects and the lead actor Vijay Deverakonda was shared on social media platforms on Sunday announcing the reason behind the same. As per the statement, this drastic move was taken keeping in mind “the current environment and the testing times our country is facing”.

Interestingly, the statement added that the Southern heartthrob will be seen in a never seen before avatar which has heightened the anticipation levels of the fans. However, it is visible that the netizens are upset with this announcement as it is a trend to release posters and teasers of a star’s upcoming movie on their birthday.
Fans had been requesting the makers on social media to release at least a new poster to celebrate Vijay Deverakonda’s birthday but all in vain. It is to be noted that since February, there hasn’t been any update on Deverakonda’s Bollywood debut film and the teaser was the only update the fans were looking forward to but this also has left them high and dry.
