One of the biggest stars of the country, Aamir Khan has come a long way since his humble beginnings. One film that changed Aamir’s life and made him the boy next door star was his super hit love story Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. Recently, an old video started doing rounds on the Internet which shows how Khan left no stones unturned to promote his movie.
QSQT released in 1988 and was Aamir Khan’s first commercially successful film. Before the tragic love story hit the screens, no one had a clue who Aamir was. The humble star along with the movie makers tried all sorts of tricks to promote the movie. In the video, Aamir Khan can be seen going around Mumbai with his co-star Raj Zutshi sticking his movie posters on autos. They would try to convince taxis and auto drivers to let them stick their movie posters, while some would agree others would refuse. He says in the old clip, “They (auto driver) would ask us which film is it? Who is in it? Who is Aamir Khan? I would tell them I am Aamir Khan. We tried a lot that people would get to know about our movie.”

Fans started pouring their love on this throwback clip and applauded the small steps the actor took that has made him huge superstar now. Currently, Aamir is busy shooting for his upcoming next Laal Singh Chaddha. The actor will reportedly leave for Ladakh soon along with South actor Naga Chaitanya, who will be making his Bollywood debut with the Tom Hanks adaptation.
