Bollywood is currently going through a rough patch. All the predictions and estimates of trade pundits went wrong when movies with big stars like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff failed to create a buzz at the box-office. At the same time, Southern movies like Pushpa: The Rise, RRR, and KGF 2 released almost around the same time reaped massive collections triggering panic among Bollywood’s A-listed gang.
And, so they are trying every strategy to promote their movies. Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 released last week is slowly inching towards 100 crores. It has been declared a big hit as it was made on a modest budget with no so-called big superstars leading the franchise. However, Koki and Kiara both aggressively promoted the movie even after its release. While now Kiara is busy promoting her next upcoming movie Jug Jugg Jeeyo with Varun Dhawan, Kartik Aaryan continues to visit different cities and colleges for the promotions.
Recently, the actor was spotted eating Biryani on the Mumbai-Pune highway. He was returning after promoting BB2 in the cultural capital of Maharashtra.
The trailer of Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha will be released on May 29 tomorrow during the IPL final match. The Dil actor is known for coming up with unique strategies for promoting his movies and this time too he seems to have planned something different. He went public with the Ghajini cut during the release of his movie by the same name years ago which became a big trend.
Recently, he was spotted enjoying Pani Puri with the media people in Mumbai during the preview launch of the trailer. Aamir Khan is known for his good promotional strategies and all these steps are slowly triggering an interest in Laal Singh Chaddha among the audience. Apart from that, Aamir is well aware that giving due importance to the media is one way of creating hype on social media. And that is why he arranged for this trailer preview, especially for the media people last night which yet again is a clever strategy.
The movie scheduled to release in August this year also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan as the female lead.
