He is none other than filmmaker Ronnie Screwvala. He has earned a place on the Forbes' World's Billionaires list for 2025 with a net worth of $1.5 billion.

Ronnie Screwvala, born in Mumbai in 1956, started his journey by making and selling toothbrushes. He set up a toothbrush manufacturing company in the 1970s after obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mumbai University.

Later, he ventured into the entertainment industry in the 1980s with a cable television business, capitalizing on the rise of color TV in India. In 1990, he founded UTV, and it grew into a major player in Indian media under UTV Motion Pictures.

In 2012, Ronnie sold UTV to Disney for over a billion dollars, which significantly increased his wealth. After producing movies such as Swades, Rang De Basanti, and Jodhaa Akbar, he returned to filmmaking with RSVP Movies in 2017. He produced successful movies such as Uri: The Surgical Strike and Kedarnath.

Unlike the Khans, who have earned a fortune from acting and public persona, he built his wealth through production and business ventures.
