  • The Super 30 actress revealed in an interview how Bollywood is unreal and pretending.

Mrunal Thakur has come a long way since starting off as a television actress with Mujhse Kuchh Kehti.. Yeh Khamoshiyaan and Kumkum Bhagya. In a career spanning almost a decade, this Maharashtrian girl has seen it all-from star kids getting the plump roles to outsiders struggling to get even a tiny bit of attention.

During one of her interviews, the Vitti Dandu actress revealed the unreal and pretentious face of Bollywood and how there are a lot of facades that cover up and glorify the image of stars.

Mrunal Thakur is currently single and would like to date boys. But being a celebrity she simply cannot log in to Tinder or other dating apps and start dating. While talking about how she picks up her dating partners the actress said that for her what is important is being real.

The actress further said that she would never pick a partner from Bollywood because people in this industry are unreal and the ratio is 1: 10 between real and unreal.

She added that her friends from college or childhood are real and they are the ones with whom she likes to stay connected. On the other hand, Bollywood has people who pretend that there is a facade.

Mrunal believes that Bollywood people are full of themselves and hence they simply cannot see the other person or give enough to any relationship.

Although her first Hindi movie Love Sonia did not do well commercially, Mrunal Thakur’s acting was appreciated and made her get some biographical films like Batla House and Super 30. She came into the limelight after working as the female lead in Super 30 opposite Hrithik Roshan.

Though her last few movies including Dhamaka, Toofaan, and Jersey failed commercially. Still, her career was saved by the commercial and critical success of the Tollywood film Sita Ramam released last year.
