The censor board has cleared ways for ‘Mastermind’, a bilingual flick based on 2018’s sensational Patnagarh parcel bomb case of Bolangir district.

Mindgame, starring Bollywood actor Atul Kulkarni, Sunita Krishnan and Ollywood actor Manoj Mishra in prominent roles will soon hit the theatres.

As per reports, filmmaker Rajesh Touchriver had pitched titles like ‘Bullet Raja’, ‘Patnagarh’, but the censor board approved ‘Mindgame’ which will release in Telugu and Odia languages simultaneously.

It is pertinent to mention here that, the movie is based on the true incident of sensational parcel bomb case. The movie will present the cruelty of Punji Lal Meher, who planted a bomb inside a wedding gift packet and presented it to a newlywed couple in Patnagarh of Bolangir district in 2018. The bomb blast killed the newlywed groom Soumya Sekhar Sahu, a 26-year-old software engineer, and his family members. Soumya’s wife was also grievously injured in the blast. Later, Meher was arrested.
