Bigg Boss Telugu 5 is already creating ripples even before it has started airing. There are several factors that are contributing to the increase in this hype for the reality show. One of the big reasons is that Nagarjuna is not going to host this year’s Bigg Boss Telugu as he is busy with his acting assignments. As per rumors, Rana Daggubati who already is known as a successful host of talk shows has been roped in to take the place of Nagarjuna.
While the buzz is quite strong about Rana’s inclusion as the host of Bigg Boss Telugu 5, no official confirmation has come out as of yet. Another factor that has triggered anticipation for this year’s Bigg Boss is that the makers are trying to rope in YouTubers and social media influencers as contestants apart from television celebrities and actors.
With YouTubers and social media influencers playing a big role in today’s entertainment world, their inclusion in the show is expected to add a new dimension to the Bigg Boss game. Also, the budget for this year’s show has been doubled. According to reports Star Maa has decided to make this year’s Bigg Boss more lavish and attractive and hence its budget will be twice that of last year.
The show has already been delayed due to the Corona pandemic and now is expected to start airing from August or September this year. While the names of many probable contestants for Bigg Boss Telugu 5 have been coming up, the makers are yet to come out with the list of confirmed contestants. Before Nagarjuna, many other celebrities hosted Bigg Boss Telugu.
The first season was kicked off by Jr. NTR who entertained the audience with his superb anchoring skills and dialogues. The second season was hosted by Natural Star Nani followed by Nagarjuna who hosted the third and fourth season of Bigg Boss Telugu.
Last year, when Nagarjuna was busy, Southern diva Samantha Akkineni stepped in as guest host in the 7th week of the show.
