  • Bigg Boss OTT’s Shamita Shetty shares cryptic messages on Instagram ahead of her participation.
  • The Mohabbatein actress justified her participation in a typical Salman Khan style.

Shamita Shetty was the first contestant to enter the Bigg Boss OTT house yesterday and was received warmly by host Karan Johar. There were rumors about the makers approaching the Mohabattein actress for the show but many believed that she may not be a part of the reality show on Colors TV after her brother-in-law Raj Kundra was arrested on charges of producing pornographic films.

But Shamita surprised everyone by joining Bigg Boss OTT and even shared a cryptic message on Instagram related to it. The actress has said that there is no need to hide and it is time to stand up, hold the head high and show the world what you have got. Shamita ended her message, with, “Bigg Boss OTT-Here I come!!”

During her interaction with Karan Johar regarding her participation in the controversial reality show, the ‘Sharara Sharara’ dancer said that she was approached for the show before the Raj Kundra controversy surfaced and since she had already committed for it months before there was no reason to turn back now.

According to Shamita Shetty, whether it is good or bad, but why should we stop working if we do not stop breathing? She further added that after the Raj Kundra controversy she definitely thought twice about whether to go ahead with her earlier decision to participate in Bigg Boss OTT or not.

Shamita, who has already been a part of Bigg Boss 3 in 2009, and other reality shows like Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi in 2019 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in 2015, justified her participation in the show by ending her interaction with a famous dialogue from Salman Khan’s movie Wanted.

Shamita said that once she has committed to something she does not even listen to herself (Ek baar jo maine commitment ka di, uske baad tho main khud ki bhi nahin suntan).
