Bigg Boss fame Ayesha Khan recalls how a man touched and molested her

Bigg Boss 17 fame Ayesha Khan is a well-known face today. With over 5.5M followers on Instagram, she has established herself as a successful actress and social media sensation in a very short span of time. However, her journey to stardom wasn’t a cakewalk.

She had her fair share of struggles and bad experiences while trying to make it big in the film industry as an outsider. Recently, Ayesha recalled how she was molested when she was a young girl.

“An elderly man, older than my father, called me and asked for my address. So, I said it’s this building. He was like, beta, will you take me there? I took him to that building. And when getting down from the building, he suddenly pushed me on the stairs and started forcing himself on me,” a teary-eyed Ayesha recalled.

“At that moment, I couldn’t understand what was happening. I could understand it was wrong, but I couldn’t understand what was happening. What would a nine-year-old girl understand?” she stated.

Recalling another incident, Ayesha revealed how an elderly man stopped his scooter near her and made comments on her breasts.

During the interview, she also revealed being propositioned by a casting director and agency when she was starting her career.

“They wanted me to do a photoshoot and asked me to wear a black netted top without any inner. Despite my discomfort, they insisted on doing the photoshoot without any inner and compared it to how even top stars like Madhuri Dixit had faced similar situations,” Ayesha revealed. 

Making the shocking revelations, Ayesha questioned why such practices were considered necessary for success in the entertainment/film industry.
