Megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Saturday visited Ayodhya Ram Temple and offered prayers to Ram Lalla. Dressed in a white kurta, pyjama and saffron jacket, he shared a picture of himself where he can be seen standing inside the newly-built temple and offering prayers.

In the viral picture, Big B can be seen with his back to the camera, while he is seen folding his hands and smiling, looking at Ram Lalla. Sharing the picture, he wrote in India, “Jai Shri Ram, Aastha ne phir bulaaya, aur kheeche chale gaye hum (Faith called again, and I was drawn to go there).”

Sharing the same picture on his blog, Big B wrote, “A travel to the God’s again…Ayodhya…and back by the late evening…sublime, serene, and filled with the reverence that divinity has ever instilled in us all…Love and may the blessings of the Almighty be within us all.”

The veteran actor had also attended the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Temple with his son Abhishek Bachchan on January 22. He has also bought a 10,000 square feet plot in Ayodhya a few days ahead of the consecration ceremony.
On the work front, Big B will be next seen in Rebel Star Prabhas’ ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.

The film is scheduled to release on May 9. The film also stars veteran actor Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani in pivotal roles.
