The trailer of Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’s much-anticipated romantic comedy Bhool Chuk Maaf has created a massive buzz online, drawing widespread attention for its unique storyline and endearing performances.

Set against the colourful backdrop of Varanasi, Bhool Chuk Maaf follows the story of Ranjan (Rajkummar Rao), a hopeless romantic who lands a government job in a bid to win over his love, Titli (Wamiqa Gabbi). But just before their wedding, a bizarre twist unfolds—Ranjan finds himself stuck in a time loop, reliving the same day again and again. The only way out? Understanding what went wrong and discovering what the universe wants him to fix.

Speaking about the film, producer Dinesh Vijan said, “At its core, Bhool Chuk Maaf explores the two biggest small-town pressures: finding the right bride and securing a decent job.” Director Karan Sharma added, “It’s a story dressed in comedy and confusion, but ultimately about self-reflection hidden within chaos.”
Bhool Chuk Maaf is presented by Dinesh Vijan in association with Amazon MGM Studios and is scheduled to hit theatres on May 9, 2025.
