Good news for the fans of Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise. Kartik Aaryan in his latest post on X has shared that Vidya Balan will be a part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 as Manjulika.
In his post, the Chandu Champion actor has penned, “And its happening. Og Manjulika is coming back to the world of BhoolBhulaiyaa. Super thrilled to welcome @vidyabalan. This Diwali is going to be crackling #BhoolBhulaiyaa3.”
Now that certainly is very good news for the BB franchise fans.
The first movie from the franchise had Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, and Ameesha Patel in the lead. It was Vidya’s Manjulika that stood apart from the rest of the character and to date has remained unmatched. Even today, fans remember the stunning performance delivered by The Dirty Picture actress who mesmerised the audience with the character of an emotionally imbalanced young wife suffering from a split personality disorder.
In Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Tabu played the double role of both Anjulika and Manjulika. Although Kartik Aaryan’s Rooh Baba became very famous, it was Tabu who took the movie to another level. Now that Vidya Balan is all set to return as Manjulika, suddenly the expectations around Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have heightened. Apart from being a very good actress, Vidya also is very choosey about her roles and only gives her nod if she has some meaty role to play.

Since she has said yes to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 it indicates that apart from Koki, Vidya is also going to play a pivotal role in the threequel. The movie is expected to do a lot of good to Vidya Balan ’s sinking career as she has not delivered a big hit in the last many years although she has always impressed the critics with her performances on the screen.
