Ekta Kapoor’s new show Barsatein- Mausam Pyaar Ka has been receiving a lot of love from viewers since its release.
Set against the backdrop of a newsroom, this intriguing narrative sees two headstrong individuals – Reyansh (Kushal Tandon) and Aradhana (Shivangi Joshi) lock horns as they find themselves entwined in a complex web of emotions.
Fans have loved the crackling chemistry between Kushal & Shivangi’s characters, however, with the entry of Aradhana’s ex-lover in the recent episodes fans are eagerly waiting to see how it affects her relationship with Reyansh.
In the upcoming episodes, Reyansh can be seen finally confessing his love for Aradhana following his emotional breakdown after his mother breaks his heart once again.
Aradhana cries with happiness and accepts his proposal, after which he places a ring on her finger.
However, Aradhana’s ex-lover Mayank’s entry is sure to spice up things and it will be interesting to see if Reyansh doubts her of being disloyal just like his mother or believes her keeping his trust issues aside.
Notably, actor Tushar Kawale will play Mayank, an entitled lover who refuses to take ‘no’ for an answer. His desire was to settle down with Aradhana in Canada, but she enraged him by declining his proposal.
Speaking about essaying this character, Tushar in an interview with Tribune said, “I am so excited about starring in a show that the audience has come to love in such a short span. When I first heard about this role and the way Mayank’s story unfolds, I was immensely grateful for the opportunity to bring alive a character with shades of grey who also has an inability to accept failure or rejection. Portraying the range of emotions he experiences is a challenge that I have taken upon myself, and this track will create an engaging drama that will leave the viewers at the edge of their seats.”
