Badshah replaces Kumar Sanu as new Indian Idol 15 judge
Popular rapper Badshah has officially joined the judges' panel for the 15th season of the hit singing show ‘Indian Idol’, replacing veteran singer Kumar Sanu. He will judge alongside Shreya Ghoshal and Vishal Dadlani.
The announcement came through a social media promo from the show's producers, featuring Badshah in his signature style.
Badshah, whose real name is Aditya Pratik Singh Sisodiya, has been active in the music scene since 2006.
His recent work includes the album ‘Ek Tha Raja’, with collaborations featuring artists like Arijit Singh, MC Stan, Karan Aujla, Nora Fatehi, and Seedhe Maut.
This year, he also released tracks like *Gore Gore Mukhde Pe’ (‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’) and ‘Naina’(‘Crew’). Meanwhile, Aditya Narayan will return as the host of ‘Indian Idol 15’.
Producers strategically chose Badshah to attract a younger audience, thanks to his massive appeal among music lovers. He brings fresh energy to the show, having previously served as a judge on ‘India’s Got Talent’ and ‘MTV Hustle’.
