In a recent star-studded Diwali bash hosted by Shilpa Shetty on November 10, actors Mrunal Thakur and rapper Badshah became the centre of attention. A viral video from the event showed the duo leaving the party hand in hand, sparking speculations about a possible romance between them.

However, Badshah took to Instagram on Tuesday morning, November 14, to address the rumours with a touch of humour. In a note shared on his Instagram stories, he apologized to the internet for any disappointment, denying that their relationship was what people might have assumed. "Dear Internet, sorry to disappoint you yet again but jaisa aap soch rahe hain waisa nahi hai (It’s not what you’re thinking) 😂😂," he wrote.

The video in question captured a fleeting moment as Mrunal, dressed in a green ethnic outfit, walked ahead, holding hands with Badshah, who sported a black kurta. The two were seen exiting the venue in the same car.

Prior to this, rumours circulated that Mrunal Thakur was set to marry a Telugu boy, but the actress later refuted these claims.

On the other hand, there were rumours that Badshah was going to marry his longtime actor-girlfriend Isha Rikhi. A source close to the singer told Hindustan Times that Badshah and Rikhi were planning to have a “gurdwara wedding in north India” soon.

On the work front, Mrunal Thakur was last seen in 'Pippa,' where she starred alongside Ishaan Khatter. Her upcoming project is the Telugu drama 'Hi Nanna,' co-starring Nani in the lead role.
