During a recent interview, Babil Khan opened up about being a part of Piku. Babil revealed that he worked as a camera intern. He also shared the profound impact Sircar's storytelling had on him. Moreover, he also called Sircar a 'fatherly figure' and opened up about the bond he shares with him.
Speaking about Sircar, the Qala actor said that he often gives him practical guidance and advice. He also shared that whenever the filmmaker visits him, he asks him to clean his room before beginning the conversation.
The Logout actor called Piky a 'masterpiece' and shared that it continues to resonate with him. Babil recalled a scene of his father in the movie where he asks Deepika's character about the significance of staying connected to one's roots. As Babil shared, that particular dialogue has only grown more relevant with time and reminds him of the importance of staying down-to-earth.
Further, Babil shared that he was completely unaware that he was completely unaware that he would pursue acting as his career. Recalling an incident when Irrfan was asked about his son's future plans, Babil said that his father responded that he wasn't up to much as he was learning filmmaking at the time.
