Athiya Shetty cheers for KL Rahul as he powers Delhi Capitals to victory in IPL 2025

On April 10, 2025, KL Rahul led Delhi Capitals (DC) to a six-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The 32-year-old batter sealed the victory with a dramatic six and celebrated passionately by removing his helmet, drawing a circle on the pitch with his bat, and planting it in the center. He was also seen mouthing, “This is my ground.”

Rahul’s statement performance earned him the Player of the Match award. Speaking during the post-match presentation, he said, “This is my ground, this is my home. I know this better than anybody else. Enjoyed playing here.”

The couple recently welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on March 24, 2025. Announcing the news, Athiya and Rahul shared a joint Instagram post with an illustration of two swans and the message:
