Arunita Kanjilal Reveals About Her Marriage Proposals On The Kapil Sharma Show

Arunita Kanjilal along with her Indian Idol 12 co-contestants Pawandeep Rajan, Sayli Kamble and Danish will be soon seen as Captain in Superstar Singer 2 where they will be mentoring the contestants.

Recently, to promote Superstar Singer 2, all the captains along with Alka Yagnik, Javed Ali and Himesh Reshammiya who will be seen as judges on the show graced The Kapil Sharma Show.

Kapil Sharma, who is known for his impeccable comedy time and witty one-liners, was seen pulling the leg of Arunita and Pawandeep, who share a close bond.

Kapil while introducing the captains, introduced Salman Ali first as he was part of the last season and questioned, if he is in the show because of love or if Sony has kept his payments on hold.

He then went on to introduce Sayli and congratulated her on her engagement. After that Kapil turned to Arunita and asked if she is getting a lot of marriage proposals. To this, Arunita shyly revealed that till now she has not received any marriage proposal. Following this, Kapil can be seen looking towards Pawandeep and questioning him 'if he would propose in half an hour', leaving everyone bursts into laughter.

Notably, this is not the first time that Kapil pulled Arunita and Pawandeep's legs. Earlier when they appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show after the completion of Indian Idol 12, he had teased them and questioned Arunita if she knew Pawandeep from the very beginning. “Aap pehle se jaanti thi Pawan ko (Did you know him from before)?” Kapil asked jokingly, which had made her blush and laugh.

Superstar Singer Season 2 will premiere on April 23 on Sony TV.
