Recent swirling rumours surrounding the alleged romance between Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, including speculation about an impending engagement, have been debunked by close sources. Contrary to claims that the couple is set to make a grand announcement next month, insiders reveal that there is no truth to these assertions.

A News18 Telugu report triggered a frenzy by suggesting the couple's plans for a February engagement, but a close source informed Hindustan Times that the duo has no intention of going public with their relationship.

Describing Deverakonda and Mandanna as highly private individuals, the source stated, "They are not planning to go public with their romance or take their relationship to the next level by exchanging rings."

“They are living together, are happy and content with how their relationship is going, and don’t feel the need to get engaged at the moment...” said the source to HT.

The source further said that Vijay and Rashmika are currently focused on their work and hence, they are not at all planning to get engaged for the time being.

Recent vacation photos shared by Rashmika and Vijay also fuelled engagement speculation, amplified by reports of familial approval. The Vietnam getaway heightened anticipation for a possible announcement in February. However, representatives of both actors denied the rumours, reiterating that they are merely good friends.
