Are Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh expecting their first child?

Deepika Padukone, who made heads turn with her stunning appearance at the BAFTA awards, is reportedly expecting her first child with husband Ranveer Singh. 

According to a report in The Week, Deepika is currently in her second trimester and will welcome their firstborn in monsoon.

As per the report, speculations that Deepika may be pregnant fuelled as she subtly hid her midriff at the 77th BAFTA red carpet. Deepika wore a shimmery saree and custom jewellery by Sabyasachi Mukherjee for the event.

As per reports in The Week, Deepika Padukone is pregnant and is in her second trimester, and going by the given speculation, Deepika and Ranveer will welcome their firstborn in monsoon.

However, Deepika who has been making regular public appearances has not shown any signs of her pregnancy yet. But this speculation has left fans enthralled.

Earlier, in January this year while speaking with Vogue Singapore, Deepika had said that she and Ranveer are looking forward to the day when they will start their own family.

When asked about having kids, Deepika said, “Absolutely. Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family.”

On the work front, Deepika was last seen in Fighter opposite Hrithik Roshan and will next be seen in the sci-fi action thriller film Kalki 2898 AD alongside Prabhas. She will also be seen in Rohit Shetty's cop drama Singham Again alongside Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.

On the other hand, Ranveer, apart from Singham Again, will be seen in Farhan Akhtar's Don 3 and Shaktiman.
