Apharan 2, Aashram 3, Mirzapur 3: Most Awaited Sequels To OTT Series

Apharan, Aashram and Mirzapur are some of the big OTT hits; and, the sequels of Mirzapur and Aashram also received great response. So, now fans are eagerly waiting for a new season of all these three series so that they can binge-watch them during weekends or holidays.

Apharan (ALT Balaji)

The series released in 2018 is about the present times revolving around topics like mystery, kidnapping, and suspense. As expected, the thriller includes non-stop action and managed to keep the audience hooked all the time. Arunoday Singh, who leads Apharan, impressed with his histrionics and now the next season is expected by the mid of 2022.

Recently, Ekta Kapoor shared a video when she went live on Instagram. The video shows Ekta and Arunoday talking about getting kidnapped. Fans thought that this was a way for Ekta to hint that Apaharan 2 is soon coming to OTT.

Aashram (MX Player Original)

It marked the return of Bobby Deol to the entertainment world in a big way and debut on the OTT platform. Already two seasons of this crime thriller are out and received a lot of response from the audience. Now everyone is waiting for its third season. The series is about the Baba in an Aashram and his true colours, blind faith, and politics. The third season of this Prakash Jha-produced series is expected to hit the OTT platform in March 2022.

Mirzapur (Amazon Prime Video)

Mirzapur is one of the biggest OTT hits and both of its seasons have received massive responses and appreciation. Led by good actors like Pankaj Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, Supriya, Pilgaonkar, Vikrant Massey, Ali Fazal, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and more, the series is about a mafia don played by Pankaj Tripathi in a small town of Uttar Pradesh.

The series has already received a renewal for the third season but no tentative date for its release has been declared yet.
