Prabhas and Anushka Shetty are widely regarded as one of the most popular couples in south cinema. The duo has starred together in films like Mirchi and the Baahubali series. Their on-screen chemistry was so magical that fans believed that the two were dating in real life. But both Prabhas and Anushka always maintained that they are very good friends and denied all the dating rumuors.
Recently, an old video interview of the duo went viral in which the Baahubali actors can be seen talking about the scene from their movie ‘Mirchi’ in which Anushka is seen lifting Prabhas in saree with ease.
Anushka Shetty in saree lifted Prabhas with ease!The video seemed to be from a promotional event when the interviewer asked them about that particular scene and questioned if Anushka had lifted Prabhas in real or it was a camera trick. To which, Prabhas said, “No. No. She really lifted me.” And went on to describe how the director said the shot was okay.
He also revealed that he was quite excited about the shot as the hero lifting the heroine is quite common but a heroine lifting the hero was a quite unique thing. Reportedly, Prabhas stood on a stool and after Anushka had caught him, the stool was removed.
However, he was sacred also and asked Anushka if she could do it before shooting. But to his surprise Anushka easily lifted him. Notably, this scene became one of the highlights of the movie.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Prabhas was last seen in Salaar which was a blockbuster. He will next be seen in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD alongside Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan.
On the other hand Anushka Shetty is set to collaborate with director Krish for her next movie.
