Anushka Shetty completes 18 years in film industry; fans flood love for Baahubali actress

Indian actress Anushka Shetty grabbed the eyeballs of cine lovers globally with her powerful performance in the SS Rajamouli-helmed Baahubali franchise. Pairing with Prabhas in the magnum opuses, Anushka left a long-lasting impression in the minds and hearts of movie lovers. Even after over five years, Anushka’s Devsena character remains afresh.

Today on July 23, Anushka completes 18 years in the film industry. Expressing her joy, the actress shared a picture of her with an audio clip playing in the background. She thanked everyone for supporting her throughout her career. 

Anushka says, “A lot of people are all over, the world. From day one, from a naive starter, when I was new, everything was new to me. Unconditional support, unconditional encouragement, and unconditional love will always be very precious to me. So thank you...”

Anushka, born on November 7, 1981, as Sweety Shetty, made her debut with Telugu movie Super in 2005. In her 18 years career, Anushka has worked in about 50 movies and shared screen space with several A-listed actors in the South industry. Anushka has earned a loyal fan base from across the world with her enchanting performance.

On the work front, Anushka was last seen in Nishabdham with R. Madhavan and in her upcoming movie ‘Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty’ she will be seen sharing screen space with Naveen Polishetty. The movie is scheduled for theatrical release on August 4, 2023.
