Anushka Sharma steps out first time after birth of son Akaay, check her intimate birthday dinner in Bengaluru

Bollywood star Anushka Sharma made her first public appearance since welcoming her son, Akaay, with cricketer Virat Kohli. 

Faf du Plessis, Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain, shared a photo capturing Anushka's birthday celebration with him and Kohli. The actress marked her 36th birthday on May 1, Wednesday, with an intimate gathering in Bengaluru.

Virat Kohli took to Instagram Stories to share a snapshot of the menu featuring Anushka's name, expressing gratitude to Chef Manu Chandra for an extraordinary dining experience at Lupa, a renowned Bengaluru restaurant.

On Anushka's special day, Virat poured his heart out in a heartfelt Instagram post, declaring her as the light of their world and showering her with love. The couple's journey began in 2013 when they met during a shampoo advertisement shoot, leading to their private wedding in Tuscany, Italy, in 2017. Their first child, Vamika, arrived in 2021, followed by the birth of Akaay in February 2024.

In a joint statement earlier this year, Anushka and Virat joyfully announced the birth of their son Akaay, expressing their happiness and love for their expanding family. 

On the work front, Anushka will next be seen in ‘Chakda Xpress,’ a biopic portraying cricketer Jhulan Goswami's life. This marks Anushka's comeback after a four-year hiatus since her last appearance in 'Zero' alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
