Anushka Sharma jumps in joy as Virat Kohli & Co thrash Pakistan in thrilling match

The happiness of actress Anushka Sharma, who is currently in New York to cheer for her husband and India’s run machine Virat Kohli, knew no bounds after India outplayed arch-rival Pakistan in Men’s T20 World Cup at Nassau County Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

The Babar Azam team suffered a humiliating defeat despite a low target of 120 runs. Despite a strong start, Pakistan lost to India for the seventh time in T20 World Cups and now faces elimination from the tournament.

India won by 6 runs and it was Virat Kohli’s wife who was seen jumping and dancing in joy. The ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ actress sported a big smile and clenched her fists in excitement. Dressed in an oversized blue shirt over a casual white tee, Anushka looked as gorgeous as usual with her tresses open and accessorized with minimalistic earrings.

Earlier, during India’s batting, Anushka Sharma seemed very upset after Kohli who opened for team India, was dismissed for 4 runs off 3 balls. The actress looked visibly upset as India lost both openers Virat and Rohit Sharma early in the game.

Kohli was dismissed by Pakistan bowling great Naseem Shah, leaving the entire stadium in pin-drop silence. However, team India bounced back with Jasprit Bumrah doing magic with his exceptional bowling.

Bumrah’s sensational spell of 3-14, including 15 dot balls, ensured India successfully defended 119 to beat the Green Army by six runs.
