Anupamaa: MaAn fans lash out at makers for foreshadowing Anu-Anuj’s Separation

Anupamaa fans finally breathed a sigh of relief after Anu’s proposal to Anuj to marry her again. However, their happiness seems short-lived as the latest promo suggests that Anupama and Anuj’s long-awaited marriage might not happen, leaving fans dismayed.

In the latest episode, Anuj gathers everyone in Asha Bhawan to share the good news about his and Anu’s marriage. While everyone is happy to hear about their union, Toshu, Pakhi, and Dolly taunt Anu about it. Others, including Adhya, celebrate Anu and Anuj’s reunion. However, it appears their joy will not last, as the makers have foreshadowed a separation between MaAn.

First, Dimpy spoils Adhya’s painting of Anuj and Anu, and then the latest promo shows Anu and Anuj enjoying their time together. However, later, they meet with an accident and become separated. Anu panics when she can’t find the Radha Krishna locket, a keepsake of their love. When she later finds the locket broken, she worries that it is a bad omen for her relationship with Anuj.

Meanwhile, MaAn fans have flooded social media, slamming the makers for foreshadowing Anu and Anuj’s separation instead of showing a happy picture of the couple. 

One user wrote, “The foreshadowing of tragedy in the precap has me 😭😪 Why can't they be happy?!” Another added, “#DKPwriters... seriously??? If you don't want to bring these two together, then just separate them straight away! Why the unnecessary false show of engagement and love?” A third user expressed, “Ughhh, more foreshadowing of MaAn separating. I have a feeling we won't get a wedding.”

"It's the beginning of the end of Anupamaa. Enough of such cheap writing," lashed out a netizen. “DKP, instead of separation foreshadowing, you could've shown the MaAnU family having fun and bonding. We know you will separate MaAnU either before or after marriage, but at least give us beautiful moments of the MaAnYa family. Did I ask for too much?” wrote another MaAn fan.
