‘Idly Kadai’ Gears Up for Diwali 2025

‘Idly Kadai’ marks Dhanush’s fourth directorial outing and boasts a power-packed ensemble cast including Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Prakash Raj, Sathyaraj, and Parthiban. Originally slated for release alongside Ajith Kumar’s ‘Good Bad Ugly’, the makers opted for a Diwali 2025 release to avoid a box office clash.

Backed by Wunderbar Films, Dhanush’s own production house, the film is shaping up to be a major festival entertainer.

Set Fire Incident Earlier This Month

Earlier this month, the film’s shoot faced a scare when a fire broke out on set in Anupapatti village, Theni district. Thankfully, the team had just shifted locations, and no injuries were reported. An investigation into the cause is ongoing.
