Animal has become one of the biggest blockbusters of all time. The way its collections are soaring every week, there is a strong possibility that it may even surpass Shah Rukh Khan's biggies like Pathaan and Jawan. While a large section of society has appreciated this Sandeep Reddy Vanga movie, many people have slammed the Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna -led film for its misogynist inclination.

The high level of violence and bloodshed has not gone down well with the intellectual class which is why the role of Rashoo in Pushpa: The Rule might get rewritten. There is a strong buzz that Sukumar and the team have taken the criticism directed at Animal very seriously. Hence, the director plans to tone down the level of violence in this Allu Arjun sequel.

The first movie Pushpa: The Rise shows the rise of Pushpa and his romance and love story with Srivalli played aptly by Rashmika Mandanna. In the sequel, they will be shown as a married couple and hence the focus will be on their married life. Since the movie Pushpa is all about smuggling red sandalwood and Pushpa’s fight against the law, there are bound to be a lot of fights, actions, and violence.

The violence in Animal however has left many shocked and disturbed and there is a section of the audience who said that the overall movie and its presentation were distasteful. Keeping all the negative reviews in mind rumours are adrift that the makers of Pushpa are now rewriting Rashmika Mandanna’s role and maybe she will get a much stronger part to play in this sequel.

In his review, however, Allu Arjun hailed the entire star cast of Animal including Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika, Bobby Deol, and Tripti Dimri. Bunny penned that Animal has joined the list of Indian classics and called the overall movie and Ranbir’s performance was magical.
