Anil Kapoor signs multi-deal with YRF; to play R&AW head in War 2, Alpha and Pathaan 2

Anil Kapoor has given some big hits as a supporting actor in the last couple of years. From Fighter to Animal, this veteran actor has been making his presence felt in every movie with meatier roles. And now it seems Anil Kapoor has signed a deal of lifetime with Aditya Chopra’s YRF. The famous film production company has hired the veteran star to play the head of R&AW in all three movies from its Spy Universe.

Pinkvilla has reported that apart from these three movies many other creative stories are being written which are expected to become a part of the Spy Universe including Tiger Vs Pathaan. And Anil Kapoor will be a common point in all these upcoming movies from YRF Spy Universe.

According to the source, “Anil Kapoor is bowled over by the vision of Aditya Chopra for the Spy Universe and took no time to sign the dotted lines for the part. He begins his affiliation with an appearance in War 2 starring Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr, and Kiara Advani in the lead. This will be followed by the Alia Bhatt and Sharvari starrer Alpha and finally lead to the Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone film, Pathaan 2.”

War 2 being directed by Ayan Mukerji with Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani, and Jr NTR in important roles is slated to release on August 15, 2025. So Anil Kapoor will make his first appearance in the Spy Universe as the head of R&AW in War 2 followed by Alpha which is the first female-led Spy Universe. There are no updates as of yet about Pathaan 2’s schedule. But there is a buzz that the story for this Shah Rukh Khan ’s sequel is being written and the movie may go on the floors by the end of next year.
