Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday are working in Dharma Productions’ Liger. While the multi-lingual movie will mark the debut of the Tollywood superstar in Bollywood, it will be the first Southern flick for Ananya. Incidentally, despite having three releases, Ananya is yet to impress the audience with her acting skills. However, she seems to have made a good impression in the eyes of the Dear Comrade actor who has nothing but good words for the efforts of this young actress in Liger.
Recently Vijay Deverakonda praised Ananya Panday saying that she has worked hard for the movie and has put in a lot of effort. According to the Southern superstar the Bollywood diva has played her part very well in Liger and everyone will love her performance when they watch her in this Puri Jagannadh-helmed movie.
The actor also said that everyone connected with the movie has done a good job and everyone is working hard because all of them want their career to become successful and deliver their best possible. He further added that being a competitive industry delivering performance is important if you want to survive and nothing else can help.
Liger has already triggered a lot of anticipation among movie-buffs. While the Southern fans are elated that the Tollywood superstar is now making a pan India debut, Karan Johar who is launching Vijay in Bollywood has left no stones unturned to ensure that the Southern star gets a good response from the Hindi film industry and audience.
Apart from introducing Vijay to other Bollywood young actors and actresses, Karan has roped in World-renowned wrestler Mike Tyson to play a pivotal role in Liger. Vijay Deverakonda is playing the role of a kick-boxer with a stammer. While not much is known about the role of Ananya in Liger, she was not the first choice for this movie. Apparently, Karan wanted Janhvi Kapoor to feature opposite Vijay Deverakonda but due to date issues, she could not join this project.
