'Ananya Panday hot, Sara Ali Khan hot': Riyan Parag FINALLY breaks silence on leaked search history
Young Indian cricketer Riyan Parag set the internet abuzz after he inadvertently revealed his YouTube search history during a live session in May 2024. His search history showed 'Ananya Panday hot' and 'Sara Ali Khan hot'. While netizens slammed the young cricketer and trolled him brutally, a few took a stand for him. Well, after several months, the Assam cricket star has finally broken his silence on the matter.
During a recent interaction with City1016 Radio, Riyan Parag shared his side of the story on the topic that sparked controversy and invited criticism.
Sharing his clarification, Riyan shared that after he finished his IPL match in Chennai, he got on a Discord call with his streaming team which actually happened before the match but got publicised later.
The young cricketer also shared that one of his team members tried to set him up before the IPL but it got down quickly.
"But then after the IPL, the hype was there, and I had a good season. I came and opened my stream, I didn't have Spotify or Apple Music. Everything was deleted," explained Riyan.
Further, he added, "So I went on YouTube to put on music, and I searched for music. But I didn't know what was happening, but once I did the stream ended, I was like Oh s**t! This happened. It just got blown out of proportion."
During the interview, he also stated that at the time he didn't think it was good enough a reason for him to come out publicly and clarify as he knew no one would have understood.
For the unversed, during a live session on May 26, 2024, while searching for a song on YouTube, Riyan's browsing history showed 'Ananya Panday hot' and 'Sara Ali Khan hot'. While the hawk-eyed live viewers noticed the browsing history, a few took screenshots of the live stream including the search history. The stills of the browsing history were shared on social media and those immediately went viral. The young cricketer faced a backlash and got brutally trolled.
