Millennium Star Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most respected Indian actors with a fan base across the world. BigB, born as Amitabh Srivastava on October 11, 1942, will turn 79 years in two days.

BigB made his debut as an actor in 1969 with multistarrer film Saat Hindustani. However, the 1973 movie Zanjeer, in which he was in the lead, proved to be a blockbuster and Bollywood got another Superstar in the form of "angry young man." The crime film with violent action was just the beginning of his blockbusters. Since then, the actor never turned back until the late 90s when senior Bachchan witnessed a setback in his career. However, with Yash Chopra's Mohabbatein, he got back his stardom. Currently, there is no other actor in his comparison at this age, who is commercially successful and still continues his dominance throwing a threat to several young actors.

The total net worth of BigB is estimated to be around $400 Million, which in Indian currency is approximately Rs 2950 crore. Earlier in 2019, BigB had announced on social media to divide his property equally between his son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda. However, in 2017, Amitabh had once refused to share his money with his son.

The actor was recently seen in Chehre which also starred Emraan Hashmi in the lead. Apart from movies, the senior actor is busy with several advertisements contracts with different leading brands. Moreover, the actor is hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati streaming on Sony channel which is one of the most popular and loved television game shows. Currently, the Millennium Star is hosting the Season 13 of the game show.

Throughout these years of KBC, several celebrities from different quarters have come to the sets and have been quizzed by Bachchan. In 2017, his son Abhishek was on the sets of KBC. The father-son duo enthralled the live audience indeed. The episode turned out to be more interesting when Abhishek took the hosting charges from his father while he was sitting on the hot seat.

“Mere saamne baithe hai Mumbai se aaye Shri Amitabh Bachchan (Sitting in front of me is Mr Amitabh Bachchan from Mumbai),” said Abhishek.

Further, Abhishek went on to add, “He is an actor, and he has worked in films across different languages. His hobbies include singing and working.

The episode turned out to be humorous when Junior Bachchan said, "If he wins a huge amount on the show, he will give that amount to his son,” to which Senior Bachchan reacted by saying “Says who?”

To this, the Guru actor replied, “You have only taught us, what is mine is also yours.”

However, the Sholay actor said, “But today, what is mine, isn't going to be yours because that's mine.”
