On the eve of his 81st birthday, Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan met with an outpouring of love from fans gathered outside his Mumbai residence, Jalsa.
Videos and pictures captured the veteran actor acknowledging the crowd, dressed in a distinctive pink and blue jacket. Amidst the sea of well-wishers, Amitabh's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda, Aaradhya Bachchan, and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai were present at the Jalsa entrance. Aishwarya video-called someone, seemingly her husband-actor Abhishek Bachchan, and showed him how fans came to meet and greet Amitabh on his birthday.
A heartfelt Instagram post from Navya Naveli Nanda showcased a family moment, featuring Amitabh surrounded by Jaya Bachchan and grandchildren, each beaming with joy. Jaya and Aaradhya sported matching maroon outfits, while Navya and Agastya Nanda opted for stylish ensembles.

In the images, she embraces her father with genuine smiles and varied expressions. Shweta, donning a charcoal sweatshirt, captioned the post with, "Happy 81st Papa (beating heart emoji) Big shoes (and hugs) no one can ever manage to fill (hug face emoji)."
Reacting to the post, Navya and actor Ranveer Singh posted red heart emojis. Other well-known personalities, such as Chunky Panday, Farah Khan Ali, and Maheep Kapoor, also extended their wishes to the legendary actor.
Amitabh Bachchan's recent film, "Uunchai," a family entertainer alongside Anupam Kher, Parineeti Chopra, and Boman Irani, garnered positive responses from audiences.
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan's upcoming projects include "Project K" with Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, as well as Ribhu Dasgupta's courtroom drama film "Section 84."
Amitabh Bachchan is also set to share the screen with superstar Rajinikanth in "Thalaivar 170," directed by TJ Gnanavel after 32 long years.
