The meet has caught everybody’s attention as the saffron party is trying to strengthen its base in Telengana. It is unclear whether Jr NTR is keen to venture into direct politics or not. Fans believe it will certainly be the actor who will decide on it. However, at present they are loving his work through films and they will be happier if anything like this happens.
It was a pleasure meeting you and having a delightful interaction @AmitShah ji. Thanks for the kind words. https://t.co/Hrn33EuRJh

It is pertinent to mention here that the actor is the grandson of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) founder, former chief minister and legendary actor NT Rama Rao, who was popularly known by his initials NTR. Moreover, Junior NTR had campaigned for N. Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP in 2009 but stayed away from active politics. Despite speculations, he did not campaign for TDP in 2014 and 2019.
