Deepika Padukone and Sandeep Reddy Vanga's fallout has been a hot topic of discussion. There is a strong buzz that the Bollywood actress had put forth some conditions apart from demanding a huge remuneration for Spirit which is being helmed by Vanga with Prabhas in the lead. Many people from the Hindi film world have supported Deeps saying that the demand for working for limited hours is justified since she is a mother of a very young child and there is nothing wrong about it.

But things turned ugly after Vanga posted a harsh post with many assuming that it was directed at Deepika Padukone. Fans wonder why cannot a big director like Sandeep Reddy Vanga handle rejection from a famous actress or respect her decision to leave a movie.

Sridevi was badly hurt by Rajamouli's unprofessionalism

It also brought back memories of Sridevi and SS Rajamoul's feud during the making of Baahubali. It is a known fact that the RRR director had first approached the legendary actress for the role of Sivagami Devi which eventually went to Ramya. When Sridevi refused to do the role or things did not work out between the director and the actress commercially, Rajamouli during one of the interviews said that he was lucky that Sridevi refused to do the role of Sivagami Devi.

Around the same time articles and news pieces saying that the national superstar had demanded a huge amount for the role also started flooding in the magazines. When during the promotion of Mom, Sridevi was asked to comment on her feud with Rajamouli, she said, “There are rumours that I asked about Rs 10 crore for the role, including an entire floor in a hotel and 10 flight tickets, etc. I have been in the industry for about 50 years and acted in more than 300 films. Do you think I could have accomplished all of this by making such demands?"

Sri added, “I saw a Rajamouli interview and I was shocked and hurt by it. I have heard about Rajamouli, he is a calm and dignified person. I have seen his movie Eega and was very happy to work with him. He is a great technician but the way he spoke about the issue made me feel very sad."

Rajamouli regretted speaking publicly about Sridevi

Rajamouli later on regretted speaking about the whole thing publicly. He stated, “As for whose version to believe, I guess it is for people to decide. But one thing is for sure, I shouldn't have discussed the details on a public platform. That's a mistake. And I regret it."

He also wished Sridevi the best of luck for the release of Mom at that time.
