Allu Arjun with Rebel star Prabhas
Stylish star Allu Arjun, who is gearing up for the release of Pushpa 2, recently appeared in an interview and was all praises for his contemporaries and Tollywood superstars Prabhas and Mahesh Babu. The Pushpa star called Prabhas a six-foot gold while crediting Mahesh Babu for raising the standards of Tollywood.
“I always say this- Prabhas is a six-foot gold,” Allu Arjun remarked.
Recalling a heartwarming incident, he shared, “He learned that I enjoy decorating Christmas trees, and he sent me a box of exquisite Christmas decorations from Europe. Since we both love trees, I gifted him a plant, which has now grown into a big tree at his farmhouse.”
Allu Arjun also hailed Prabhas’ humility which sets him apart from other stars. Speaking about Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun praised the ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ actor for his impressive comebacks after facing failures.
“Everyone talks about the looks and appearance of Mahesh Babu, that of course is given. But, his impressive comebacks after facing failures in his career is something that I really admire,” Allu Arjun stated.
He further added, “And he is a true cinema lover. Genuinely speaking, he is one of the actors who has raised the standards of Telugu cinema. On this part, I really respect him.”
Meanwhile, the trailer of ‘Pushpa 2’, which was released on November 17, has been receiving a lot of love from fans who have been eagerly waiting for the release of the movie. The movie has created a Rs 1000 crore record even before release.
Showcasing high-octane action and drama, Pushpa 2 follows the gripping saga of Pushpa Raaj, a sandalwood smuggler. The trailer launch event took place in Patna, Bihar with a record-breaking presence of fans, way more than political rallies.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is busy with his upcoming movies while the handsome hunk Mahesh Babu is gearing up for his next mega project with acclaimed director SS Rajamouli which will be a globetrotter. The film is tentatively titled ‘SSMB29’ and is said to be made over a Rs 1000 crore budget.
