The coronavirus pandemic has disturbed all the calculations and release schedules of the movie industry. While there are a few who preferred releasing their movies on OTT platforms, a few makers have decided to postpone the releases. The makers of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa have now come up with a unique solution to cover up the losses that they may incur due to the current situation.

Recently they confirmed that they will release Pushpa in two parts. While prequels and sequels are quite common in Tollywood, this time along it was never a planned thing. The decision has been taken due to the crisis triggered by the second wave of coronavirus. According to the latest update, while Rashmika Mandanna will play the lead heroine in the first part of Pushpa with the Stylish Star, she will be replaced by a Bollywood actress in the sequel.

The buzz says that the director Sukumar is currently hunting for a noted star who can take place of Rashoo in the sequel. Since the makers are planning a pan India release for Pushpa, they now want to focus on adding some Bollywood actors to the star cast to enhance the chances of success of the movie across India.

Allu Arjun has already managed to make a place in the hearts of millions of Indians with his Butta Bomma song with Pooja Hegde from the superhit film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Rashmika Mandanna has signed two Bollywood projects and is now a well-known face in the B-town after the release of her video “Top Tucker” with Badshah.

Fahadh Faasil, the famous Malayalam actor will be playing the lead antagonist in Pushpa and will appear at the end of the first part. Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, the film will release in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam on 13th August 2021.

Late last month Allu Arjun triggered panic among his followers when he tested corona positive. The Tollywood superstar a few weeks ago confirmed that now he is negative.
