Allu Arjun’s 'Pushpa: The Rule'- Srivalli’s death to create high octane climax

The director of the Pushpa franchise Sukumar and the team are now gearing up to start shooting for the second installment of the franchise. Reportedly, Allu Arjun will start the shooting in August this year. Rashmika Mandanna will reprise her role as Srivalli in the movie as the love interest of Pushpa.

However, the story in the second installment is about Pushpa’s fight with police officials as he smuggles the red sandalwood from the forests. In his bid to expand his business, Pushpa will be dealing with smugglers from South East Asian countries as well and will become a notorious smuggler.

Rashmika as Srivalli will not have much role in it. And that is why her role in Pushpa: The Rule is going to be toned down with a major focus on Pushpa’s expansion and smuggling activities. During the climax, the police officials will use Srivalli as a pawn to reach Pushpa which ultimately leads to the death of Srivalli. This climax is expected to be heart-wrenching and is going to be the crucial turning point in Pushpa: The Rule.

Pushpa: The Rise showcased the rise of Allu Arjun’s character as a smuggler and his romance with village damsel Srivalli played by Rashoo. Allu Arjun won the hearts of fans across the country with his swag and mannerism as Pushpa, his hook step in Srivalli's song, and his dialogues. The movie was one of the biggest hits post the COVID pandemic era and consolidated the position of the Southern superstar as a pan-Indian star.
