Stylish star Allu Arjun has created history by bagging the Best Actor honour for his movie ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ at the 69th National Film Awards. The superstar has become the first actor from the Telugu film industry to win the National Film Award.

With 280 films across 28 languages in competition for various awards, the event was held by the jury at the National Media Centre in Delhi. 

Meanwhile, a video of Allu Arjun getting emotional while celebrating his big win is going viral on social media. The video was shared by Mythri Movie Makers.

Sharing the video on Instagram, the makers wrote, “Maverick director @aryasukku and our producers #NaveenYerneni garu and #RaviShankar garu shower their happiness and love on Icon Star Allu Arjun for becoming the first actor from TFI to win the best actor at the National Awards.”

In the video, we can see everyone clapping and hooting for the stylish star as he gets emotional and shares a tight hug with director Sukumar. Seeing his happiness, Allu Arjun’s wife Sneha also gets emotional while his children can be seen cheering for him.

Helmed by director Sukumar, Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa: The Rise – Part 01' is a  Telugu-language action drama film directed by Sukumar. It stars Allu Arjun  alongside Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna.

Pushpa: The Rise is the first installment in the Pushpa film series depicting the rise of a coolie, Pushpa Raj in the smuggling syndicate of red sandalwood, a rare wood that grows only in the Seshachalam Hills of Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh.

Now, the sequel of the movie titled Pushpa: The Rule is all set to enthrall the audience on the big screen.
