Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's upcoming 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' has already elevated the excitement among all since the makers dropped the first look of Pushparaj, followed by the teaser and trailer. Pushpa 2 is among the highly-anticipated movies that fans are eagerly waiting for. While the much-awaited flick was scheduled for theatrical release on 15 August 2024, the makers left the moviegoers disheartened with the postponement announcement on 17 June. Though several theories are circulating in the media explaining the possible reasons behind the postponement, there is no such 'strong reason' from the makers yet. 

However, a recent report claims that the makers deferred the release date of Pushpa 2 for Pushpa 3.

As per an exclusive report by Deccan Chronicle, Icon Star Allu Arjun and director Sukumar are shooting extensively which is for Pushpa 3.

The report quoted a close source to the development as saying, "Two separate units are shooting at varied locales and canning lot of content and in all probability, Pushpa 3' is very much on cards."

Further, the source added, “Allu Arjun and Sukumar have realised the potential of the script and trying to expand its franchise and cash in on the craze the film has already generated and dish out two more parts.”

Undoubtedly, 'Pushpa: The Rise' received high appreciation from all corners. Apart from its worldwide box office collections, the movie made Allu Arjun globally recognised. His swag as Pushparaj aka Pushpa drove everyone crazy, including several celebrities. Bunny also was honoured with a National Award for his powerful performance in the movie.

In this age of 'sequels', several sequels have worked successfully. Now, the new trend in the Indian film industry seems to be the era of 'triquel'. Just like Kamal Haasan's Indian 2 and Indian 3, Pushpa 3 could be a game-changer. This new trend could be a game-changer for Telugu and Tamil cine industry.
