Alia Bhatt has decided to take a 1-year maternity break. Here are a few actresses from Bollywood who returned successfully post-pregnancy.

Alia Bhatt has decided to take a 1-year maternity break. And that is why she has wrapped up shooting of almost all her assignments. A couple of months ago the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress completed shooting for her first Hollywood venture Heart of Stone which stars Gal Gadot in the lead.
She is currently shooting for Karan Johar-helmed Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh and after that will stop shooting for movies. However, Alia will continue to shoot for her other assignments including endorsements that will not involve long hours.
Nevertheless, there have been many other actresses who have successfully returned back to work and continue to attract good projects.
Madhuri Dixit Nene
The actress took a long break post her marriage and shifted to the US. But after having two kids, she decided to return to India and has been doing some wonderful movies, web series, reality shows, and more. Be it Aja Nachle or her Marathi debut movie Bucket List or her recent OTT release Maja Ma, the dhak dhak girl continues to shine.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
After delivering Aaradhya Bachchan, Ash cut down work but still continued to do a few movies and rocked the fashion world with her spectacular red-carpet appearances in Paris and at Cannes Film Festival. She also continued to make an impact in the film industry with movies like Sarabjit, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and the latest one-Ponniyin Selvan I.
Kareena Kapoor Khan
If there is one example of a Bollywood actress who continued to work all through her pregnancy and reported back to shooting within a couple of months from delivery then it is none other than Bollywood's sexy diva Bebo. While she continued to work on Laal Singh Chaddha during her second pregnancy, Kareena delivered two hits - Good Newwz and Veere Di Wedding post her first child.
Kajol
The actress has continued to work in between her two pregnancies and although has worked less in movies as compared to her contemporaries most of her films have been hit or offbeat. Be it My Name is Khan, Dilwale, or Tanhaji, Kajol has delivered her best all through her career.
