Actress Alia Bhatt is immersed in the filming of her upcoming project, ‘Jigra,’ directed by Vasan Bala. The eagerly-awaited film is set to hit the theatres on September 27.

As Alia resumes filming for her film, behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets have surfaced online, triggering discussions and speculations about potential spoilers and the diverse characters she portrays.

The leaked images provide a sneak peek into Alia's diverse on-screen appearances, including one where she is seen donning what seems to be a protective vest. In the most recent pictures, the actress is spotted riding a scooter on a set designed to resemble a Bangkok alley, dressed in a stylish blue shirt and pants.

Additional snapshots showcase Alia in what looks like hospital worker uniforms – a light blue top and pants – as she engages with her phone, showcasing a chic short hairstyle and accessorizing with a watch.

‘Jigra’ marks Alia Bhatt's second venture as an in-house producer, following the success of ‘Darlings’ on Netflix in 2022. The filming commenced in October, and this collaboration with director Vasan Bala adds another dimension to her versatile career. Co-produced by Karan Johar, ‘Jigra’ is set to grace the theatres on September 27, 2024.
Alia, sharing her excitement on social media, had previously announced the film, expressing her journey from debuting in a Dharma production to producing a film with them.

"Presenting #Jigra, directed by the extremely talented @vasanbala and produced by @dharmamovies & @eternalsunshineproduction. From debuting in a Dharma production to now producing a film with them, in many ways, it feels like coming full circle from where I started. Every day is a different day… exciting, challenging (and a little scary)… not just as an actor but also as a producer as we bring this film to life, and I CANNOT wait to share more as we move forward," wrote Alia.
