Congratulations are pouring in for one of the most loved couples of Bollywood- Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor! The actors are expecting their first child.
Alia announced the news of her pregnancy in an Instagram post, in which she can be seen happily staring at a sonography screen with a big red emoji on the screen with Ranbir by her side. “Our baby ….. coming soon ♾❤️✨,” she wrote.
She also shared another picture of a lion, lioness and their cub in the post.
Alia's post has already earned thousands of likes, along with congratulatory messages from fans and friends including Rashi Khanna, Mouni Roy, Tiger Shroff, Rakul Preet Singh and others.
Notably, this good news comes just two months after their hush-hush wedding.
For the unversed, Alia and Ranbir got married on April 14 at the latter’s house in the presence of close family members and friends.
The couple is also set to share screen space for the first time in "Brahmastra: Part One Shiva", scheduled to be released on September 9.
At a press conference for his upcoming film "Shamshera" last week, Kapoor said he couldn't have asked for a better life partner than Bhatt.
"It is a very big year for me. It is a great year for me, I got married, it is a beautiful thing that has happened in my life... My life with Alia is the best," he had said.
