Actor Randeep Hooda is all set for his upcoming Swatantra Veer Savarkar. The Kick actor is essaying the titular role in his directorial debut and is quite excited for the same. Recently, the actor dropped a monochromatic mirror selfie flaunting his drastic physical transformation. The pic left his fans shocked and many recalled a similar transformation he underwent for Sarbjit.

Recently, Randeep recalled many things related to Sarbjit during an interview. He also recalled his work experience working with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who essayed the role of Sarbjit's sister.

In a recent interview with Humans of Bombay, Randeep confessed that due to limited scenes he had with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan they didn't get the opportunity to bond on set. However, he commended her professionalism and dedication to her work.

Randeep said, "She was great, very courteous, she does her job well. She’s all there, she’s very sincere about it. Although we didn’t have many interactions on set because a lot of my scenes were away from her, whenever we did, she was all that she’s made out to be."

Further, he added, "They tried their best to make her look real, but she’s so unreal.”

Well, this was certainly a compliment for the diva, who continues to mesmerise her fans with her unmatched beauty.

Randeep also shared that more than his co-star, he formed a great bond with Sarbjit's sister.

The Sultan actor honoured their bond and went on to fulfill her (Sarbjit's sister) final wish and lighted her funeral pyre.

Randeep also regretted not spending more time with her. He praised her as a remarkable woman who deeply cared for Sarbjit's children. Further, he mentioned that the film had a profound impact on his real-life relationships.

On the work front, for his upcoming Swatantra Veer Savarkar, Randeep has undergone a massive transformation as he did for Sarbjit. His dedication to work is quite evident in both movies. His transformation for his role in the movie is striking. His noticeable weight loss exposes his ribcage and hipbone, with even his forehead appearing larger.

Soon after the post surfaced on social media it went viral. While some hailed the actor's dedication others compared him with Hollywood actor Christian Bale, known for his transformative roles.

Apart from physical transformation, he also revealed staying in the cell to feel what the politician and activist must have gone through. On the death anniversary of the late politician Veer Savarkar on February 26, the actor dropped a series of photos in honour of Veer Savarkar.
