The rumours swirling around Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan's divorce have intensified after the Taal actress went missing from a special event celebrating Amitabh Bachchan's birthday.

Notably, Millennium star Amitabh Bachchan turned 82 on October 11. While fans celebrated their matinee idol's birthday with pomp and grandeur in various ways, his special day was celebrated on the popular game show  Kaun Banega Crorepati: Season 16. Like every year, this year the show was graced by special guests, Aamir Khan and Junaid Khan. Clips of Bachchan family members wishing the birthday boy also played on the show. Wife Jaya Bachchan, daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda, son Abhishek Bachchan, grandson Agastya Nanda, and granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda wished Big B with their heartfelt messages. Even a few photos of Aaradhya Bachchan were also shown during the show. While messages from all members were played on the show, his Aishwarya's clip was missing.

The Guru actress missing from the video has once again sparked speculations that everything is not right between the star couple. Netizens even claimed that the Dhoom 2 actors are headed for a separation.

This incident has sparked a discussion on Reddit with users sharing their opinions. 

One Redditor wrote, '"If anyone watched today’s KBC episode, it almost confirms the separation. Not one glimpse of Aish in the videos showed wishing him.' (sic)

Another wrote, "It’s a big confirmation. You can’t just keep your daughter in law out if things were fine." (sic)

"Their separation was proved in KBC today. Everyone’s snippets were there except Aish. Also, they showed Navya, Agastya speak but Aradhaya's few seconds images and that's about it. Aish ka toh naam aur nishan bhi nahi," wrote another user. (sic)

Well, though Aish was absent from the special video on KBC, the Dhai Akshar Prem Ke actress wished her father-in-law with a social media post. She  shared a picture of Amitabh Bachchan with Aaradhya Bachchan and wrote, "Happy Birthday Pa-Dadaji God Bless always." (sic)

Well, Aish's absence from the video could be for any reason, but this seems to have not gone well with the netizens.

While rumours of the star couple heading for a separation have been circulating for a couple of months now, neither Abhishek, Aish, nor any other member of the Bachchan family has responded to them.
