After Sunny Deol's success, Aamir Khan in talks with Pushpa Makers for...!
Sunny Deol's recent release Jaat has reportedly raked in over Rs 80 crore in its 15-day run. Helmed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Jaat has beaten his Gadar: Ek Prem Katha to become his second biggest hit after Gadar 2. The success of Jaat, also starring Randeep Hooda, highlights Sunny's enduring connection with the audience. As Sunny continues to strike a chord with his emotionally charged role, a recent report suggests that Aamir Khan is in talks with Pushpa makers for a pan-India project.
According to a recent report by Mid-Day, Aamir Khan is in advanced talks with Mythri Movie Makers, the Hyderabad-based studio behind Jaat and Allu Arjun's Pushpa franchise, to headline a pan-India mass entertainer.
Notably, Aamir recently revealed about kicking off Mahabharat this year. He also revealed that the cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic will be something like 'The Lord Of The Rings' with multiple directors shooting different parts simultaneously to ensure a quicker turnaround. However, the superstar hasn't confirmed if he will star in it. While his team works on Mahabharat, Aamir has time to explore another project.
The report quoted a close source to the development as saying, "The team at Mythri is exploring a pan-India mass entertainer. As seen in Pushpa, their cinematic language includes stylised action and dialogue-baazi. With Aamir, they want to roll an out-and-out mainstream film, which will mark his attempt at a masala movie after a long."
However, Aamir, who is known for his dedication and undivided attention to films, will take a call after the release of Sitaare Zameen Par.
Further, the source added that if things work out, pre-production on the project will begin in early 2026.
