South diva Samantha is currently undergoing treatment for Myositis, an auto-immune condition. The disease is caused by one’s own immune system attacking one’s muscles. It causes inflammation of various muscles in the body.

However, Samantha has revealed that she is strong and can fight it out.

Meanwhile, actor Varun Dhawan, who had recently revealed that he has been diagnosed with Vestibular Hypofunction, has shared a few updates on his health condition. The Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania actor took to his Twitter handle and thanked fans, family and friends for prayers and concerns.

 

He revealed he is doing much better. He shared a series of Tweets and wrote, “To everyone who has been concerned I would like to share I am doing much better with the help of yoga, swimming, physio  and a change in lifestyle. Getting sun is the most important. Above all the blessings of Bhagwan.”

He further wrote, “Hey guys I know I had recently given an interview where I spoke about my health not being a 100 percent. The amount of concern and love that has followed has left me humbled and actually very energised to get back to 100 percent.”

 

For the uninitiated, Vestibular Hypofunction is a condition that affects the major functions of the vestibular organs.

Varun Dhawan, during a recent interview with India Today Mumbai Conclave 2022, had revealed that he has been diagnosed with Vestibular Hypofunction.

Speaking at the function, he said, “Recently, I just shut down. I didn't know what had happened to me. I had this thing called vestibular hypofunction, basically your balance goes off. But I just pushed myself so hard. We are just running in this race, nobody is asking why. I think there is a greater purpose we are all here. I am trying to find mine, and hopefully, people will find theirs."

On the professional front, Varun Dhawan is gearing up for the release of his movie ‘Bhediya’ also starring his Dilwale co-star Kriti Sanon. He will be next seen in Bawaal with Janhvi Kapoor.
